Point Pelee the southern most tip of Canada I enjoyed riding with my cycling buddy Rick who came up to join us in Ontario! The roads are little more challenging to find shoulders or paths to ride on here but we press on riding 50 miles a day. Weather has been unseasonable hot in the low to mid 90’s, so we have been riding mid morning and later afternoons. Here we are early in the day when it was cooler!😎
Amy and Sara have been finding lunch spots and discovered this authentic Lebanese resturant in Ontario! Crazy good!!Bizarre situation, when trying to check in at Sawmill Creek Resort near Lake Huron in Canada, I had reserved our rooms at the Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron Ohio😳!! Same name both listed with Huron so after some driving we stayed at a Hampton Inn! The Fishers are a little suspect of my advance reservationing 😅.A little light breakfast to start the day! Rick enjoying pealee bacon Canadian style with blueberry pancakes. Oh my , good thing we are riding 60 miles today 😬!!
Bayfield Ontario stayed here , superb little town on Lake Huron ( yes in Canada!) and at the Little Bayfield Inn. Off to Kincardine today , staying on the Lake so another refreshing swim when we arrive!
Thanks to Marilyn and Doug Sawyer , dear friends, for their donation this morning to our ride and CAF they helped us to anew level!! We have now raised over $140,000 for challenged athletes 🚴👍🎉!
Later this week we will be in Toronto to meet a number of CAF recipients who are participating in the Invictus games (Prince Harry and the First Lady were there this weeekend)…more on that later! The Stache is rolling, thanks for following us!!😉
